Mondays are my day to wash my floors and on Monday, when I was washing, the sun was hitting my floor just right because I was able to see all the junk under my stove! It was disgusting!!! Immediately, I pulled out my oven and had to see what was under there. I realized that I had not cleaned under there since we painted our kitchen a couple of YEARS ago…Opps!
This is what it looked like.
After I vacuumed and washed it Basic H, it looked like this!!! YAY!!!!! It’s glowing again!
This was also disgusting! EWWW!! Something must of spilled on the side of the oven onto the side of our cabinet.
Again, I just sprayed and wiped with my trusty Organic Basic H and viola!
Am I the only one who gets excitement from a clean floor under my oven?
You know a lot of dust gets stored under there and could spread to the rest of the floor.
Plus, isn’t having things stuck under there a fire hazard?
How often do you clean under your stove?

Well, I did clean under our oven...once we got rid of it this summer but never did since we moved in four years ago since it was a drop in and wasn't easy to come out. Now we have an old vintage oven...that thing is seriously heavy so it will be awhile before I pull it out and clean under it again! Now, the frig I don't mind so much. BTW, when you clean your wood floors, do you use a mop and the squirt the Basic H right on it or mix in bucket? Just wondering...

I would love to clean under mine! BUT I need hubby to help get it out. It's gas AND there are no wheels so it would scratch my hardwood terribly!! Is that BasicH safe on sealed hardwood? I was told to not even use vinegar and water. I'm curious, it would be nice to get my brand new shine back!

ReplyDeleteI would hate to see what is lurking under my stove. There is now ay to pull it out without scratching the wood floors. I oush the vacuum hose as far as I can get it under there and that's it. SO far we haven't died:):)
