Hello everyone! I hope that you are having a great week so far!
Last week, I shared how I made smoothies and this week and I wanted to share how I make smoothie-pops! I just made up that name but basically, I make popsicles with leftover smoothie.
I bought these popsicle makers from Bed Bath and Beyond.
When we have leftover smoothie, I just fill these up.
The kids love them!
They make a great healthy, afternoon snacks!
Have you ever made these?
We also make performance-pops!
Have a great day!

Yum! We always made pops when we were kids - but only from juice - making a smoothie pop is a great idea and a great way to use up extra smoothie!

Hi there
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. We love our smoothies and what a great way for the kids to enjoy them. So convenient and I think those holders are great!
Yummy....I'm sure with this nice hot weather you go through lots of them.
enjoy this lovely day

thanks to this post you reminded me I could do that with our leftover smoothies. Often times I would just pour the little bit leftover into a ziploc bag and freeze and then throw it in the blender later with another smoothie recipe. :) I did not have popsicle molds so I thought outside the box this time and used my demarle mini muffin form instead...I simply poured the leftover smoothie in it and then put in the freezer about 30 min until it was not totally frozen but solid enough to put a popsicle stick (I have tons on hand for crafts) in them and then let them freeze totally. My kids loved them and when they asked for seconds I said YES! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Silly question ... are those built-in straws on the popcicle molds/holders? As the popcicle melts, does it drip out of the straw? Just curious - I've never seen that style and they look like such fun!
ReplyDeletecarsuch!
ReplyDeleteWhen the kids melt, the kids can use the straw to drink it! They love it!! :)
