More Crown Molding

We have been busy around here! One of the projects that we just had done was adding crown molding to our kitchen and family room.  Earlier in the year, my husband installed some in our living and dining room and I just loved so it was time to add more.  I am really pleased how it turned out!
Here are some during/before shots.

I am very happy with it.  I took everything off above my cabinets so I can see the molding.

I love the added white to my house and it inspired me want to paint my kitchen table white now too.  What do you think about that?

I also want to paint my frame and boarder to my Sacred Heart photo white too.  I am just loving white now, lol!

  6. Crown molding just amps up ANY space. It looks beautiful. If it was me, I would leave the legs of the table black and just paint the top of the table. Just a thought. Happy Halloween! XO, Pinky

  9. I think it turned out beautiful. I think adding crown molding adds value to a home and just takes everything up a notch. I love crown molding and have it in my apartment. I think it always makes a place look more expensive and elegant.

As for painting the table white, I am not sure. You have a lot of black in the kitchen in your appliances (rfg, stove, toaster oven, dishwasher, etc.) plus you have darker faucets; also the black looks nice with your granite so I think I'd probably leave it the way it is since it looks so nice.

  10. Looks great! But I agree with Dream Mom....leave the table black. =) It ties in well with your darker kitchen cabinets and appliances.

I just LOVE crown molding! It always give the room such a "regal" look.
