I just wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas! What are your plans? Do you have any Christmas traditions? Are you traveling?
We had one of the best couple of days today!
Yesterday, we woke up very slowly and got ready for the day. We had breakfast and then got the fire rolling. We enjoyed, The Miracle on 34th Street, while sipping my homemade hot cocoa and stovetop popcorn. After that, we opened some gifts and played with them which led to a much needed family nap.
After that, we ate again and made sugar cookies for Santa and prepared food for today. (I bought the fruit salad.)
As it got dark, we headed out to see an annual Christmas light show, which is an amazing show and tradition for us. The kids also decorated their rooms for Santa.
Scott and I finished up the night by putting the kids to bed, finishing up some things for Santa and watching Christmas movies on the couch.
Today, we were woken up 6am to open presents from Santa!! The kids must of been good this year because they got a little too much but they didn't mind at all.
After that we quickly ate breakfast, got ready and went to Mass! After church, we headed off to my parent's house where we spent the day with family including both sets of my grandparents. There, we exchanged secret santas, ate (way too much), drank, watched movies, talked, hung out, played, and enjoyed the day!
