So my son loves permanent markers! I don't know why and I hate it!! He loves how they are perfectly black, I guess. He takes Art Classes and is very serious about his art.
Anyway, I was walking up my stairs and found this.
Marker all over the steps!
It looked pretty fresh still, which I was hoping was a good thing!
So what did I do??
Grab my camera to show you, lol!
I wasn't sure if I could get it out but I thought, "Hey, if this really works, women will go nuts over it!!" LOL
Am I right??
I know us women love finding new cleaning secrets. Don't we???
I grabbed my go-to organic cleaner and heavy duty cleaning brush!
I put my cleaning concentrate on the carpet in full strength, let it sit, and then scrubbed!!
TaDA!!!
I was shocked!!
I didn't actually think it would work but it did and surprising very quickly!
There you go!
A natural way to remove permeant marker on your carpet!

Wow! This stuff is amazing! I also got permanent marker off of my hardwood floors with it! I hope you have a blessed day! Julia
ReplyDeleteIt removes sharpie from clothes too!
ReplyDeleteThis post had me cracking up! I love Sharpies myself-the black rocks and it's so perfect when used correctly lol!
ReplyDeleteLol! He is an emerald!!
DeleteJust found spots of black sharpie from my son....thank God I saw this! It had been setting for a while so it wasn't fresh.....pulled out my Basic H.....low and behold it came out!!!!!!! I figured while I had it out I would hit a few other spots in my house. I had a spot in my family room probably from when my son was two (he's almost 6)..he fought me taking amoxicillan. That pink stuff I just couldn't get out of the carpet and the couple of spots turned black in my beige berber. Now, mind you, I have had that carpet cleaned about 5 times professionally (high traffic area)...those spots never came out until I used the Basic H today. CRAZY! Thanks a heap!
ReplyDeleteI’m sure men would appreciate this cleaning secret as well, especially when you have kids – ‘carpet artists’ as they like to call themselves – at home. :D For this stain, my wife usually uses non-oily hairspray. Just let it sit in the carpet for about half an hour then wipe with a damp sponge. So far, it works, but this organic concentrate definitely would be tried! Thanks! -->Giovanni
ReplyDeleteI actually enjoyed reading through this posting. Many thanks.
