Do you have dry hair or scalp?
I was noticing that mine was getting dry so I decided that I wanted one of those fancy hair treatments.
I didn't have the time or money to get one so I made my own and it turned out amazingly!!!
I heard of olive oil and coconut oil working like magic so I thought I would try it out.
I just grabbed some olive oil that I already had and pour some into my hand and started applying it all over my hair.
I started with the ends and worked my way up into my scalp.
I massaged it in!
Then, I let it sit for about 15-30 minutes.
I can't remember how long it was because I threw it into a ponytail and did a few things around the house.
After that, I took a shower and washed and conditioned it twice!
I also brought my big comb in the shower and combed through my hair.
I could tell instantly that my hair was smoother.
I was going to blow dry it but Andrew started fussing so I never got around to it. I just comber through my hair and let it air dry.
A few hours later, when my hair dried, I looked into the mirror and was really impressed!
My hair was extremely soft, my scalp was not dry, and my hair was shiny.
I was so happy!!
I will probably do this every couple of weeks during the winter because my hair feels amazing!
Have you ever tried something like this?
How did you like it?
Bonnie :)

ReplyDeleteI do coconut oil too! If I am going to be home for two days straight, I leave it in for 24 hours before washing it out. I also use coconut oil and baking soda to wash my face....best face wash ever! And super cheap ;)
